DETAILS: This game was obtained from
a long time collector friend who had taken
exceptional care of it while it was in his
possession. He had already rebuilt &
upgraded the monitor as well.
COSMETIC
RESTORATION: Powder coated the the
marquee brackets, the coin doors and all the
coin door parts. Also applied a NOS
control panel overlay.
ELECTRICAL REPAIRS/UPGRADES: Replaced the
power cord, the power filter capacitor, the fluorescent lamp &
lamp starter, the coin door reject button
lamps, and replaced the capacitors on Regulator/Audio board. The
Wells-Gardner K6100 color vector monitor had
already had its capacitors replaced and a
low voltage protection circuit had been
installed as well.
MECHANICAL
RESTORATION: Installed 2 NOS Wico
8-way joysticks.

FAST FACT: Approximately 1,550
units were produced. All Black Widow
games were conversions of other Atari vector
titles and were sold $995. Even the
brand new ones were actually "Gravitar"
games that Atari converted at the factory.
