Let's hope his power supply did not fail HIGH. Sometimes Williams supplies
can fail where the logic board gets about 10VDC. This is not very good...
Has he connected all the voltages to the switcher correctly? There are two
+12VDC connections, a -5 and +5 all are required for the board to work.
Why not introduce your friend to the list so questions can go directly...
