I don't have my notes handy at home, but if this is the support IC and
not the CPU then it can be replaced with a piece of wire! I recall that
all it did was to short two pins together in it's 40 pin socket...<br>

If is the CPU (the IC with the heatsink), then you need the correct one
to get the colours right.<br>
