Perhaps my original post was confusing, Has nothing to do with the plugs
for the speaker or fluorescent light and mixing the two up - I could see
that happening if that were in a cabinet and someone was unfamiliar with
what goes where.
The power supply board itself has an audio in (from the volume pot) and an
audio out (to the speaker) molex headers for both. The fluorescent light is
run from a splice directly off the iso transformer which I do not have
hooked up (the light that is) since this set-up is not in a cabinet.
I'm wondering if it might be one of the op-amps or one of the transistors in
the audio amp section of the board - just weird it only pops the fuse when
he speaker is hooked up to the header on
