Agreed... I think I should have the second one, since the wooden top itself
is already vineered, so the glass can be transparent... like style 2.

Big bummer about the scan-option :(

I think sometime's in its life the glass had broken and was replaced by an
general piece of glass. The black belt ca be painted onto the glass I
suppose, and the artwork could be printed and put under the glass.

Hope Joe Bachmann can, and is willing to make some scans! pls pls! :)
