I expect most people who sucked down the whole site didn't really think of
the implications, more likely just thought how useful it would be to have
instant access to all that information on their hard disc. And no, I haven't
sucked the whole site, I have a 42kbps modem connection and a life but given
broadband I can see the temptation!
I'd pay a few dollars over cost if someone went to the effort of downloading
the site and burning the CD's for me. Conversely I'd be prepared to burn
CD's for uk collectors for a few $$ to cover costs if I had Al's permission
to do so.

Well, it's hard to blame Al, reading the note about how many people have
been just sucking everything off and not going in and getting bits and
pieces that they need.
Seems to me that if one person was to download the archive and then offer
copies of the CD - at cost - (with Al's permission, after all they are HIS
work) to collectors that might make it at least a resource that can be
shared.
