I was looking through a few of my parts books on various UUT cables and
there are several numbers. The 8085 and 6502 share the same part number but
the 8080 is different. There are probably other differences. I guess we
shall just have to make lists of the cable part numbers...who has time?
Right now I don't - that is if I want to get customers boards out!
I have found that the Taito Space Invaders sound board can be tested
easily, the sound memory location are:
10003h data XX10 0000 Mute off
10003h data XX10 0010 Mute off, Fire!
10003h data XX10 0001 Mute off, UFO!
10005h data 0000 1111 sets Thumpa, Thumpa pitch
10005h data 0001 0000 invert image
I have the list but not memorized...just some tidbits. The 9010 is handy
for testing the sounds, just type in 10003 then the data 00 to turn all
off, then 10003h and the data you want to activate the particular sound,
note the SX(0-7) is the data bit coming from the 74174s
