You need to test the RS-232 port. I think that info is in the 9010A
Service manual, you can either type it in or grab that from the FTP
site... check at the bottom of this email for info on how to get
there...

Hey all. First time posting to this list. I
haven't seen many posts recently, but I am starting to use a Fluke 9010A.
I've been spending a lot of time reading the manuals, but of course I'm
also playing with the Fluke to get some "hands on" experience.
I'm trying to write a simple "Hello World" type of program to
make sure my computer and Fluke are set up correctly and communicating.

I'm using the RKSIC program and believe that I
have the COM port settings matching the fluke settings. I have compiled
my simple program and I am attempting to load the programmer. RKSIC says
to press the "AUX I/F" , "READ", "YES."
When I press the AUX I/F button, I get a message saying "NO IO
INFO." Is this correct? I wasn't able to successfully program the
unit. When I follow the instructions from the RKSIC program, I end up
with a "9000A REMOTE MODE ERR091." It seems like the Fluke
isn't set up to receive the program correctly. I need to confirm that the
pinouts of the serial cable are correct (I believe they are). My firmware
version is 2.0, displayed on boot up. This may be a little old. (I'm
worried that the documentation won't match the messages I
see.)

Am I sending the program correctly? Or do I
need to set up something else on the Fluke?

Thanks in advance. I'm hoping to spend more
time with it this weekend using the 6502 pod.
