Spy Hunter Cheap Squeak Wiring?

Been putting together a test bench for Spy Hunter boards and I'm having a
problem with the Cheap Squeak wiring. I've been able to get good video,
rigged up some controls and have the non-music sounds working, but can't get
any music.

I've noticed in the wiring diagram that the lamp driver board has some
connections to the Cheap Squeak. Does the lamp driver board have to be
connected and working to get music?

Any other simple things I could be missing?
