WICO XY Pattern Generator

Hi all..

Has anyone frigged with the eproms that are in the wico xy pattern
generator unit? Its cool and all, ijust received one, but it would be
even better if it had a diagonal crosshatch pattern.. or am I just
expecting too much? I see it only uses DAC08's, are they up to the task
of a diagonal crosshatch?

Still, at least I have a reliable test signal to work on a whole bunch
of amplifones now, without having to fire up the pat9000 with a major
havoc pcb as a 'tester' board hehe :)
