I'll have to try your suggestion. It seems like I can get through the ram
tests if I ground pin 1 of k6 (74LS00) and maybe do a manual reset by
grounding R107. I just want to get to the point where the game self-test
starts to work. I basically use the fluke 9010a ram test(s) to quickly
see what data/address lines are faulty. Then it's pretty easy after that.
The rom signature test doesn't seem to work right, so I just verify each
of them with my rom programer.
I did finish fixing one Omega Race today, I just have one more. They are
a huge pain because most of the time I have to clean up the corroded mess
and rewire some of the damaged traces.
