Hi Kevin,
I haven't used RS232 for a few years, but I recall using 8-N-1 instead
of 7-N-1. The X-On/Off is enabled using the Setup key and 'More' to
movethrough all the options.
The service manual for the 9010 does cover testing the RS-232 port, but
a scope is required - and the Service Manual PDF file is damaged!
On another note I just discovered that the FTP archives (and my
backups!) for a few PDFs are damaged...
If anyone has valid copies of:
9010A Course Notes.pdf
9010A Service Manual.pdf
9010A Operator Manual.pdf
9010A Evaluation Manual.pdf
I would appreciate an upload to the ftp site (send me an email so I know
to look!)
Thanks,
John :-#)#
