That's strange, attachments seem to be getting stripped off.

John, can you check on that? The picture I originally sent didn't go
through (it was a small 126K file) and the datasheet Rodger attached didn't
go through either (at least it wasn't attached to the message from Rodger I
got). I thought it was strange that he said he found a datasheet but never
attached it.

This VTI is VLSI Technology, Inc and is NOT the company bought by Murata.
The Wiki says: The company was later acquired by Philips and survives to
this day as part of NXP Semiconductors.

What he apparently has is a mask-programmed ROM with oddball chip selects
like the old Bally pinballs used.

I had attached a datasheet yesterday in this thread that wasn't the correct
part, but DID have the correct logo on top of sheet 1 and the full company
name on the bottom of the sheets.
