My view on this whole issue is to keep for sale stuff out
unless it meets all of the following criteria:

        1) It is vector-related
        2) It is not yet available anywhere else
        3) It is some sort of "special offer" to vectorlist
            subscribers.

Or, it's an update to something previously posted that met
criteria 1 - 3.

This is the way it's been done, and this is the way it should
stay. With RGVAM, the arcade list, and RGVAC as de facto media for
advertising for sale stuff, I don't think anyone NEEDS to advertise on
the vectorlist as well.

It was my understanding that the vectorlist was set up as
a place for technical discussions about vector games, and that's
the way that I'd like it to stay. Paul has the ultimate decision
(I'm just kind of like "Vice President" here) but I think I'm
pretty much echoing what he said in his previous post.

That being said...we're all friends here. It looks like
we're going to come up with some policy statement about this,
but no one can anticipate every situation. Ebay auction announcements
(which have been previously posted in RGVAC) are pretty much a
clear-cut example of what shouldn't be here, despite the fact that
it's a vector game. Other situations may not be as clear-cut, so
use your best judgement.
