Yeah I have a HV probe and should have thought about using it. I recently
did an overhaul on my tempest monitor and that's one of the things I did.
It should have been about 19.7kv (if I remember correctly) and it was only
about 16kv. Adjusting the high voltage definitely improved the picture
and reduced it to the right size.
If I do this to my G08 monitor and it works - you can chalk up another
"duh" on my list.
