I'm starting to agree with Zonn; perhaps it's not better to insulate the 7824
- I was worried about brittle & deteriorating lead covers on 1N4001's on the
solder side of the board, and felt that insulating the 7824 might be a good
idea to prevent future troubles.
Zonn, Thanks also for pointing out the difference in grounds for the 7824
(pin 2) and the 7924 (pin 1). I was aware of this, but didn't realize that I
typed it wrong in the faq. I'm fixing it now...
