you asked about Z80 games that used DRAM. There are actually
very few Z80 games that used DRAM, and none that I can think
of that didn't share the RAM with the video frame buffer.
Because RAM was so expesive in the 70's and early 80's, and
the CPU's were so slow, games rarely had much RAM, and it was
almost always static. The exceptions were the 6809 Williams
and Taito games.
It wasn't until the late 80's that game makers put much RAM
in games (mostly the 34010 based ones).
