Another strategy is to stay close to a shape.
When you get to a point where you expect a lot of missles to be coming, tuck
your tank up against an object and the missle will jump over the object and
your tank and continue off the game field. Usually you will then get another
missle and if you stay put, it will do the same. I've had as many as 15 do
that all in a row, then they quit coming and it's back to tanks.

I've gotten pretty good at the full reverse strategy and timing my shot just
as the missile stops zigzagging. The thing that screws it up is when I run
into one of the obstacles. By the time I react, the missile is on top of me
and I'm dead. I haven't had as much success going full forward into the
missile. I'll have to try that tactic again.
Hey Mark - The Battlezone stills plays great! Damn good thing you saved it
from that dumpster! A fate worse than death... <shudder> :-)
