I have an AA which also "cuts out completely" after about 5-10 minutes of
play.
I've tried different working AA CPU boardsets and even a RIPOFF boardset
(which
tends to last longer). So I've assumed it's the Power Supply.
I have yet to check both the DC and AC ripple but am presently assuming
that
the big blue caps are going dry (pre-regulator). Anyone else seen this type
of "cutting out"
behaviour? Will high ripple on the +5V cause the CPU to reset? I think
so. (NOTE: The red LED will
blink once and then extinquish as everything seems to turn off).
