"45 mfd" is probably 45 uF. ESR stands for effective series
resistance. If it says use Low ESR, use caps with a low ESR. Digikey and
Mouser both sell low ESR caps. I'm sure others do too. If a cap is
really low ESR, it will be advertised as such.
