BattleZone monitor centering

OK -- here's a real vector question.

My Battle Zone monitor has 2 quirks:

1) In order for the radar circle, score, etc to be high enough, the
test-mode box is just off the screen at the top. It's fine at the bottom. Is
this normal ?

2) The vectors for the background on the 'right' side of the view (as seen
in the mirror, under the score) go off the screen. The vectors on the 'left'
(under the "Enemy to rear" box) are about an inch in from the end. The
test mode box is basicly centered, except as noted above.

Is THIS normal ?

My first instinct would be a centering problem on the monitor -- except the
radar, score, etc are basicly in the correct place.

If I did want to center the monitor, I would like confirmation as to where
the magnets are. I'm assuming the centering magnets are the 2 bent tabs
sticking out around the yoke, but it's not as obvious as on the WG color.
