OH!!! Well that changes things. Now you're talking $550 for a new
vector monitor. Ouch. This is right back at the $500 range Al talked
about in one of his responses.

This has been talked through many times on vectorlist, and it always
ends up being more expensive (like *double*) the price of an existing
monitor.

You can easily get a WG for $300. That's easy. For a bit more
trouble $200. If you ask around, find a friend, make the right trade,
you can get them even cheaper.

Your original RGVAC thread was titled: "FS X/Y Monitors $250" I guess
I assumed I'd be getting an X/Y monitor for $250.

For $250 I'd have no problem finding a working WG.

$550 is something, for me, to consider a few years from now, assuming
vector monitors become rarer, and for some reason the games are still
around needing a monitor, but for now I'll have to pass.

But don't let *me* stop you (like it matters what I think ;^)), if you
came up with $250 kit that converted a 25" (or even 35"? -- there's
where you'd make your bucks! A 35" 4 Player Eliminator!!!
YESSSSSSS!!!!), I'm sure you'd have quite a few sales!

(35" X/Y -- Now *THAT* I'd be interested in!!!)
