I once made a bulk eprom eraser using a plastic case that was about the
size of a skinny shoe box, and installed a 18" UV flourescent light. This
light is VERY dangerous to eyes, so I would not recommend it for anyone
that likes to see what is happening, of if any children are around, dogs,
cats, etc.

The risk is high that an accident would happen where someone could be
exposed to the UV light.

There are some larger UV erasers that show up on eBay, look for one with an
interlock for the power.
