No, the DAC80 is used in the Cinematronics monitors and is a 12 bit DAC, the
DAC08 was a simple 8 bit DAC.
There is the DAC800 which is a monolithic replacement for the DAC80 hybrid. If
you can find them (they maybe easier to find than the DAC80), they are pin for
pin compatible and are a better spec'd part -- though you won't notice a lick of
difference when used in a Vectorbeam monitor.
