Star Castle ROM question

I just picked up a number of Cinemetronics CPUs, and was comparing them
to my Rip Off CPU and noticed that the ROMs on my "new" boards have two
pins linked together with some wire, while the Rip Off ROMs do not.
Since these boards are currently not working, I don't know if they are
Star Castle, Armor Attack, or what. As my purchase of an EPROM
reader/writer is still a few weeks away, can someone tell me what these
boards might be for?
