Tempest Monitor Tech.

Hi All,
Well after further testing with my digital multimeter I have discovered that both of the chassis mounted transistors on both the X and Y deflection coils are burned out. Not really surprising considering the "Tech" who installed them used absolutely no heat sink compound, but what else might fry them all at once? Thanks for any insight that you may have, this is my first color XY monitor repair and I don't want to take any mis-steps.

BTW Does anyone have a cross reference number for these transistors that might be cheaper than the NTE extortionists. I hate waiting for parts to come in the mail, I just don't have the patience for it. Why doesn't Radio Shack carry the stuff I need?!?!?!?!? :-)
