Thank you for pointing that out again. Indeed, I am an idiot. Last time I
considered it impossible because the pinouts for the small connector
contained only the video signals. That is... the pinouts on the MH side,
not the Tempest side. DOH! Okay... got that cleared out of the way. (And
boy, do I owe Krazykatt1 some massive feedback.)
Everything seems to be working now. Sound, buttons, gameplay. DOH! Wait a
second... the spinner isn't working. I've plugged in Tempest. Okay... it
isn't the spinner or the wiring then. Plug back in Major Havoc. Hmmm..
there is an "E" on the second operator test screen -- pointing to the
Pokeys. I replace the Pokeys with another fresh set (BTW, there seems to
be at least two manufacturers of these -- it shouldn't care, right?). No
effect. ARRGGH. At least I get to see and hear the game and fire [but not
move].
Ideas?
