Older EPROMS such as the 2716 and 2732 take 50 mS per
address to program, period. This translates to 2 minutes
for a 2716 or 4 minutes for a 2732.
Newer EPROMS use some really funky algorithms where the time
taken varies based on how receptive the part is to being
programed. This vastly speeds up what would otherwise take
forever due to the larger size of the parts.
