Sorry if that last message sent a horrible bounce through the groups.

Here is what I was trying to get out there: =)
Hey there all. I've seen lots of mention off and on (plus today
=) ) about finding chips. I was wondering how everyone went about
finding the simpler components; at this particular time, pots. I've
seen many configs out there, but of course, nothing that matches what I
need to replace. I can find the right value, wrong size/shape, or vice
versa. Any help? I've looked breifly at Mouser and Digi-Key, but
their pages seem to be more setup towards looking for a specific part,
based on a spec or part number, rather than "It looks like this, and
needs to be X value."
The local elec shop here (Seattle, WA: Radar) has a plethora of
random stuff, but it's all different: sizes, values, pins...I've had no
luck getting what I need. Pointers, as always, very appreciated.
Also, anyone in my area, who knows of other places to shop, LMK, if
you would. Thanks, later.
