Asteroids Deluxe Versions

I believe I have come across some mis-information on gamearchive. It says
that there were only two revisions of Asteroids Deluxe released. I looked
at the roms available on the net, and they seem to suggest the same thing.
The strange part is that the so called first revision has what appears to
be a rev 2 rom in it and the second revision has a rev 3. Looking at my
first revision AD, it has only rev 1 roms on it. I used romident to see if
the missing rev 1 rom was known and it wasn't. Do I have some pre-release
code? Or is it possible that its just gone unnoticed this whole time?
