Me again. =) Thanks for the help so far, next questions:
I've gotten the response that vinegar is what is needed to help clean
up corrosion, specifically to neatralize it. Is that applied
liberally, moderately, what?
Should that be straight, or in some ratio with water? Will tap water
be okay, if it does need to be diluted?
Afterwards, just rinse with water, and dry? Again on the tap water
question.
Also, I was wondering, will it hurt any of the components, do I need
to be careful with it, or can I just go to town? =)
Lastly, since I will be replacing some parts (and traces/pads), would
it be better to use the vinegar before or after I have taken any old
parts off?
Thanks for any pointers you can supply, I'll get this thing working
yet. =)
