I had the same problem while repairing a friend's BZ cabaret. The screen
was about 1" too wide, causing the score to be partly invisible, among
other problems. It turned out that the X and Y pots on the deflection
board were worn out. Several people on the newsgroup contested the very
existence of these pots, but lo and behold, they are were. They were
basically open; they would hold an adjustment until you took the tool off
of them. I didn't have anything similar to them sitting around, so I
hacked in (gently) some 2.5K pots that are typically used as black-level
pots on a WG4600 interface board. Presto...problem solved.

We also used some of Tom's replacement centering grommets, and are pretty
pleased with the feel. They're not too tight; just right.

There's also several auctions on eBay right now with some parts you might
want to check out. I saw an NOS pair of joystick handles in one, and a lot
of NOS parts that looked like they included another set (though the picture
was a little hard to see.)
