Has anyone ever tried to purchase a brand new 25" picture tube for the
amplifone monitor? I tried Richardson electronics and I don't think
they manufacture the replacement anymore. I was told that the 25" tube
could work in raster games as well such as 720 degrees.
I'm getting pretty good and color monitor convergence and my Star Wars
cockpit has a big burn spot in the center - so any info on how to find a
new picture tube would be cool.
BTW - if the picture tube is indeed the same as the one in a 720
degrees, could someone let me know the part number?
