How is the tube "not working"? You might be wise to see if anyone you know
has a tube rejuvenator. I've brought a few tubes back from the dead with
ours. They show up on eBay every now and then sell around $50 or so...
Some faults in tubes are not fatal, sometimes the tube can be saved if
shorted by running a separate filament transformer.
