I believe James Nelson is still working on the "new" vector monitor project.
Something about him finishing some patents and such first...
Wintron did agree to do the testing and design of a new yoke which is the
trickiest part (IMHO). Seems they think niche markets are a good thing.
So the question is, would people on this list be more interested in a 19" color
vector monitor, or a 25"? I've already committed to get James a new WG raster
monitor to test out his deflection design and to act as a test mule for the new
yoke design. I'm thinking most people would want a 19" to replace current broken
or missing monitors.
Anyone else know of a good place for the yoke to be wound? I've spoken with
several CRT manufacturers over in Asia, but they are only interested in large
orders (as you can imagine).
