>From what I understand, the G05 and V2000 are very similar. Do you have X and
Y pots on your deflection board? They may be very small and difficult to see
with the monitor mounted inside the cabinet.
The problem with bad pots won't cause blooming, that's a HV problem. Your
screen being too wide and not able to be adjusted within spec by the pots on
the game board, well - I would look for pots on the deflection board. The ones
I dealt with would adjust fine, until you took the tool off of them - then pop
right back to open, and too wide (and too tall.) Find 'em, check 'em, replace
'em, be done with it.
