ASTEROIDS

Hello, I have unsuccessfully tried to trouble shoot my asteroids game. At
first the screen in play mode messed up, in self test the cross hatches are
not there and it would give me a bad ram test at M4, replaced it, now R4 bad,
replace it. Cross hatch still messed up. All the self test looks like is a
bright line on both sides of screen, no numbers or any thing else. In play
mode the rocks and ships are messed up and it appears that when the rocks
move sideways that they skip a line, like I have no X deflection. any help?
