My "open-face" Battlezone had firing buttons on both joysticks. All the
"periscope" Battlezone's I've seen have the "plug" in the left joystick.
The open-face I have looks like a factory wiring job-- maybe they ran out of
plugs late in the run and just used switches instead?

I need to get some of this. Anyone know how wide the foot is? I'm guessing
about 26"?

I don't know an immediate source, but your description is an important
point-- you probably don't *need* Battlezone joystick parts exclusively.
The bezels should be the same as the old Atari/Key games driving shifter
parts (like Sprint and Indy 800 I'd think). Maybe even something like a
Pole Position shifter would be a suitable donor...
