I'm really trying to keep things *super* simple lately. People on this list
not-withstanding, the level of technical expertise of the average arcade
game collector is REALLY minimal. People have problems adding the SPST
switch to the SW/ESB kit...
On the other hand, if I end up using the start button for some function and
someone chooses to wire up an external foot-switch in parallel with the
start button, that's about equivalent and you can amaze your friends by
being able to start the game without touching the start button!
(When I was about four my father had me convinced that touching a screw in
the dashboard of our old Ford pickup turned on the windshield wipers.
Turned out there was a footswitch by the clutch... Hey, I was four!)
