RE: Major Havoc clicking

Sorry, but they probably AREN'T your problem. Those jumpers just route the
pre-amplified X & Y signals (IIRC) to the edge connecter so the Major
Havoc->Tempest/Space Duel/Gravitar/etc. adapter board can un-bow (or bow?)
the signal to display properly on a WG vector monitor. Since I didn't have
the adapter board, I just removed the jumper wires and play it on my Space
Duel and can't say I notice any difference in the display, but I'm not a
purist.

The quad Pokey was basically 4 Pokey chips in one package. They either
couldn't get them done in time or couldn't make enough of them so they had
to make the daughter board with 4 Pokeys and named it...

You might want to try:

Well, I spent a little time w/ my boards, and I think that I've found the
problem. There are two jumper wires on the PCB, and both are broken, I
guess both were shaken loose in shipping...

Anyway, I'd just like to make sure that I resolder the wires in the correct
place (the ends could conceivably be interchanged). Here is what I'm
assuming:

Jumper 1:
IC 12D pin 7 to connector pad #11 (M)

Jumper 2:
IC 12 A/B pin 7 to connector pad #12 (N)

Can anyone confirm this and/or point me to documentation regarding these
jumper wires. Further, if I recall correctly, OEM jumper-wire is crap and
should be replaced anyway???

Also, on the PCB is a "Quad Pokey Eliminator" daughter board... Again, any
info/docs regarding this element?
