Locks in most video games are the corny flat key type, and most operators
choose to replace them with better 'barrel' locks, with the round
key. Sorry for my lame technical jargon; I'm no locksmith.

99% of the coin doors I've seen have the provision for the upper and lower
lock bars, but either never had them installed, or were removed, perhaps
due to them being troublesome?

Currently I have three Tempest projects, and likely one of the cabs is
damaged enough that I will not restore it - I'm considering parting it
out. It is fairly complete (except no pcbs, and the monitor is shot - bad
tube, no HV cage, no deflection board) - and does have the two pieces
you're looking for. If you can't locate them elsewhere or through the
list, please reply to me and we can work something out.
