Did you ever find out what your original tube model numbers were? It should be on a sticker afixed to the old tube (if it hasn't fallen off). There was some variability in model numbers between amplifones. If your tubes were the typical medium resolution M48AAW00X used in Star Wars UR's (and I'm sure other games), then I believe someone posted that Richardson Electronics was recommending the 19VATP22 as a direct replacement. I may have a local source for those in Dallas, but they ain't cheap (about 125 plus shipping). Contact me directly if interested.
