I was going to fire the three bulbs through their respective color filters, then
focus them into short pieces of fiber optics which would then position the 3 beams
into 3 VERY closely positioned parallel beams. Hopefully that was going to keep
everything well converged and focused all the way to the screen.
I'm probably missing something here, but it sounded good at the time. Optics AREN'T
my field of expertise. I would have rather used very bright LEDs, but I doubt that
I would have gotten enough useful screen brightness.
