Finally!
I was beginning to worry that the exhibit had been permanently shelved
which would have been criminal.
Since I don't expect to visit Texas unfortunately, any updates on where
it's headed after the Texas stopover. Please tell me that it will make it
to the San Francisco area someday...there are too potentially great venues
to contact. One is the Exploratorium which is in SF itself. It is a
"hands-on" science and technology musuem that would be perfect in my
opinion. It is very popular with both children and adults. I suppose you
could also try the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.
Also a possibility would be the Tech musuem in San Jose.
I saw the exhibit when it was in Washington, D.C., but I feel a little
cheated in that the venue there was much too small so many of the really
rare gems were not on display. It was in a shopping center of sorts and
was not very visible overall:(. I have seen the photos of when it was in
Baltimore and it looked much larger and better laid out since they must
have had more space to work with. Therefore, I would love to see it again
in all its glory eventually...
Thanks for the update and any more info. you can provide.
