There's no separate watchdog reset circuit on a Cinematronics
board like there is on other boards. It's been a while, but I believe the
CPU must set some value every couple of ticks of the vector timer, or else
it times out like a watchdog. I remember Zonn M. talking about it in
detail a couple of years ago, but I've pretty much forgotten the details.
From a practical point of view, you have to dig through the
processor innards (not blindly -- you can just backtrack from the LED) to
fix reset problems like the one described.
