I saw some NOS BW side art once and it had something I've never seen before.
Printed on the protective cover were instructions that said that there were
tiny glass beads on top of the glue. When applying, this allows you to lay
the side art down and position it without the glue sticking. Once you have
it lined up just right you then rub down on the art, breaking the beads
which allows the glue to make contact with the cab.
I don't know if that's how other side art came, but I thought that was
pretty cool.
