Space Wars Proms are 9316's - 2716's now work!

Gang,

Thanks guys and particularly Peter for his adapter post. The 2716's are now
purring in place of what were obviously something that matched the 9316's.

Now instead of a white dot in the centre, popped circuit breakers and lots of
static sound I get.... a white dot in the corner, no popped circuit breakers
and lots of static sound (and I think I saw a line drawn somewhere quickly at
one point).

Isn't progress wonderful!!!!

I'm going to spend tonight checking every chip looking for obviously dead ones.
