It would be easy to make a simple timer that is controlled by coins that
would disconnect the game control's return line thus disabling the
controls when the time is up. We made such a device back in the early 80's
to add coins to a home video game. Used a Maytag commercial timer unit that
had a credit display. Not successful commercially...
