can i ask a totally open-ended question in a public forum without inviting a
sarcastic thread? ;)

specs for volume control on asteroids deluxe.... hmmm

see, this doesn't even make sense.. asteroids deluxe uses an AR1 (audio
regulator 1) board to regulate the power, and to amplify the audio. The only
form of 'control' is the pot inside the cabinet door. You want to know what
size pot it uses? or how far to turn the pot? or the physical size of the
pot? or the RMS value of the amplified/non-amplified signal? the peak to
peak power value? want to know whether its 2 channel, or whether its mono,
or whether its push-pull non-amplified? You want to know why ast.delux
sounds louder when plugged in an asteroids cab? want to know how to enter
the 10th level warp to uranus?

ooo i can have fun here :)

but i digress....

- get to the point any someone might respond non-sarcastically.
- do some research, schematics and manuals are readily available on ebay,
and scanned online...
