From what I remember, the Amplifone tube actually has the "standard" end cap.  The WG6100 has the funky one that  usually needs replacing when swapping tubes.  Can anyone verify this?  I have an Amplifone upstairs here at work, so I could go have a look.  I don't have anything to compare it to though :)
